Activity 1.1

After watching the video on ubiquitous learning, my understanding of the word ubiquitous is the ability to learn anywhere anytime.

Individualised learning refers to the learning environment changing to meet the needs of individual users.

You can use DLT to learn ubiquitously whenever you want. For example, If you wanted to learn how to speak french, you would simply use yout mobile phone and youtube how to speak french and watch one of the many tutorial videos on there.

DLT allows for individualised learning because someone can use the internet to learn anything that they want without having to take a class with a teacher standing in front of them talking. This means that if younger people are really passionate about a particular subject, they can learn a lot about it from a young age rather than relying on classes at school.
